This rural Yorkshire Garden was restructured with new drystone wall and a raised planter for the clients Olive Tree.
Dry stone walling is a great material for adding structure to a garden. Its free draining quality means that moisture (that would either be trapped by other materials or cause them to rot) can wick away. This can mean that dry stone planters get a bit dry, this does however make them perfect for Mediterranean planting schemes. In this case a large Olive tree from Northern Spain.
