This heavily sloping patch of front garden overlooking meadow and woodland was transformed into two terraced levels.
This project started with the clients wanting to make best use of a heavily sloping area to the front of their property. The area was planted up with shrubs, and ended at a retaining wall above a stream. Because of the sloping nature of the site it was difficult to use and maintain.
Working with the clients ideas, the area was completely restructured and terraces built from a thin bedded Yorkstone. one terrace was envisaged as seating area to enjoy view, the second a level planting area that was now accessible and could be gardened with ease.
